Investors in People

The commitment to development of our people and to a programme of continuous improvement is clearly demonstrated by our recognition in 2002 as Investors in People. Alex M Adamson LLP are proud to have been the first Sheriff Officers to achieve this recognition. That commitment has continued since 2002 with the award being renewed at further assessments, most recently in 2019. Alex M Adamson LLP continues to work to the principles in the Investors in People Standard. AMA are also now accredited as Investors in Young People.This means you can rely on a fully trained and fully committed staff dealing with your requirements.


Quality Scotland

Our approach to Quality is further enhanced by our membership of Quality Scotland. Quality Scotland is independent organisation that promotes Organisational Excellence across Scotland in the private, public and voluntary sectors. Quality Scotland’s members now number over 200, including blue chips such as Standard Life and the Royal Bank of Scotland, ambitious SMEs and a range of public and voluntary sector organisations.


Quality Management System – BS EN ISO 9001:2015

Alex M Adamson LLP has had a quality management system as certified by BSI since 1997 and that recognition has continued since that date to the current version of the standard. The Quality Management System ensures that the standards of our work are maintained, we follow specific procedures for dealing with complaints and as with IIP we are committed to a programme of continuous improvements.


Society of Messengers-at-Arms and Sheriff Officers

All officers of court working for Alex M Adamson LLP are members of the Society of Messengers-at-Arms and Sheriff Officers. The Society of Messengers-at-Arms and Sheriff Officers, established in 1922, is the only organisation which represents the interests of Scottish officers of court and acts as a channel of communication between officers of court, the legal professions, prospective clients and various authorities concerned with the execution of civil court warrants, within Scotland. Credit Services Association

Alex M Adamson LLP are members of the Credit Services Association. The Credit Services Association (CSA) is the only National Association in the UK for companies active in relation to unpaid credit accounts; debt recovery agencies, tracing and allied professional services and has a history dating back to 1902. Financial Conduct Authority

We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for the collection of consumer credit regulated debts. Information for consumers can be found at the Financial Conduct Authority website


Information Security

AMA are accredited to BS EN ISO 27001, Information Security. You can rely on AMA to manage all data to the highest standards


Complaints

While we adhere to the highest standards, there may be occasions when someone may feel aggrieved at the action taken or wish to complain. Complaints should be directed to Alex M Adamson LLP in the first instance and we will endeavour to resolve the issue direct. Any complaint will receive an initial response within 5 days. Complaints should be sent to our Grievances unit at Alex M Adamson, 7 Park Street, Falkirk, FK1 1RE or use the service feedback option on the Contact Us page.
